“you can disagree with mitch mcconnell and still wish him well” i wish he would have died right there on camera in front of america that shit would have been fire and i think what the country really needs right now for healing
Sometimes it is your fault.. Sometimes you don’t listen well enough, you’re selfish, you’re rude and you aren’t always right. Sometimes you fucked it up and tbh that’s okay. It happens, learn from it, apologize and keep it moving. Just because you fucked up doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. Don’t dwell on it
no but this is so important.. it’s so important to just accept you can fuck up you’re allowed to fuck up. you’re allowed to be wrong and it won’t be shameful, it won’t be the worst thing to happen. you’ll either let it go or learn from it and not let it happen again and that’s good.
If your goal is to normalize gender-nonconformity you’re gonna have to accept that some people will fuck with gender as hard as they can while still being unequivocally, 100% cis and that is okay. There’s no egg to crack or callout to write. This is a good thing actually.
Do things with fear. And make that phone call. Make that video call. Reach out to that person you have been meaning to. Go inside that store that intimidates you for some reason. Put your hand up and give your opinion if you have something to say. Literally, do it even with the fear, otherwise you never will. I'm holding your hand and rooting for you. GO GO GO.
I think one of the most profound forms of love is "I'll try that, for you. I may not like it, but I'll try it."
It's a confused middle-aged man in a pottery class, whose daughter is helping him with his clay's plasticity. It's a kid scrunching up their brow while listening to their mom's favorite music, trying to figure out why she likes it. It's a girlfriend who says "Yes, I'll go with you" and her girlfriend cheering and buying a second ticket for a con. It's a friend half dragging another friend through an aquarium, the one being dragged laughing and calling out "Wait, wait, I know we're here for the exhibit, but I haven't been here! Slow down!"
It's being willing to spend some of your time trying something new because it makes someone you love happy.
I didn’t miss that social cue I just thought it was stupid
‘i saw your social cue but am ignoring it in the hopes you learn to use your words and communicate like an adult. hope this helps’

officially decided that anyone who tries to divide the lgbt community is a fed. i dont care if you're not actually a fed, if you're causing infighting in a minority community then you're a fed who just isnt getting paid to be one. either apply for a job at the CIA or shut the fuck up
some people understood this post. some people revealed themselves to be feds
Dutch people are like “we don’t need to wear a helmet when we ride our bikes, because unlike in the barbarous United States, we have simply outlawed traumatic brain injury”
I told my friend who’s a TBI researcher about this post and he was shocked silent and then started laughing harder than I’d ever seen him laugh before, and then he said, “we literally use something called Rotterdam Score to assess brain injuries.”
I never would have fucking guessed that wearing a helmet while riding a bike was one of the “American things” parts of Europe find weird or make fun of. Usually we’re the ones making the more dumbassed choice.
America also has roads specifically for bikes you guys. And bike paths and bike parks. And no matter what you’re biking on there can absolutely always be an unexpected rock that sends you pitching forward into another rock that’s hungry for brains.
fun fact! did you know that you can gain extra ‘forbidden time’ by staying up late in the night? but Watch Out
